Crazy South Georgia Weather

Summer is in full swing here in south Georgia. Today was hot and humid. But this afternoon it actually cooled off around 5 o'clock when it looked like the bottom was going to fallout. With the 30+ mph wind gusts we lost power. So we head outside to try and stay cool since the power is out. The wind was doing a number on dry dusty fields around our house. All of a sudden we heard a loud crash. The wind had blown a tree down across the road. We got it all cleaned up so people could pass. Still no rain...or power. It never did rain this evening and we finally got power again about 9:30 tonight.

Here We Go...

This weekend has been one filled with lots of excitement at our house. I have been wanting to have a cool blog to share a little bit of my life with the rest of the world. Thanks to Alicia at Dreamlike Magic Designs, I finally have one! I am super excited about this new adventure I am taking and hope you will follow me on it.
